A careful choice of materials for the
optimal combination of
comfort and healthy sleeping position
Each type has a specific combination of filling
materials. There is the Silvana Support for each type of build,
with the proper thickness and softness. In most cases, the neck
support is made of resilient foam rubber (latex) of the very best
quality: Perfolatex®, which is available in various
densities. With these differences, the neck support of the Silvana
Support Caresse feels much firmer than of the Silvana Support
Sensic, for example.
The upper compartments in the three softest
Support pillows are filled with the superior synthetic Comforel®
sleeping balls, which are used in tow of the models. The firmer
versions are made with luxurious down or resilient latex
mini-sticks.
Pillow-slip
All Silvana Support pillows have top-quality cotton pillow-slips.
The supple fabric has excellent moisture-regulating qualities.
Combats dust mites
The dust mite causes many allergic reactions. It is not visible to
the naked eye and feels perfectly at home in a warm, moist
environment such as the bed. Silvana Support pillow-slips are
given a special treatment that quickly kills the dust mite. Yet
this Microstop treatment is totally safe for people and remains
effective even after it is washed.
Perfolatex®
The secret of Perfolatex® lies not only in the use of
exclusively the best natural raw materials, but particularly in a
unique production method, which results in a very open and uniform
cell structure. This ensures optimal resilience and excellent
moisture and air regulation properties. Perfolatex® can
easily be called the 'foam rubber champion'.
Comforel®
Hollow synthetic fibers are curled up into tiny little balls. This
creates an airier, more resilient and more durable synthetic
filler. In addition, the filling is easy to fluff up, and washing
it is no problem. The patented Comforel® is made in two
versions: Comforel® soft for the two very softest
models and Comforel® Supreme.
Duck Down 15%
In nature, down is the ultimate solution for staying warm. this
curly tangle of fluff is found under the layer of feathers of
geese and ducks. Down is the ideal material in terms of moisture
and heat regulation, and is extremely soft. With the use of a
combination of down and feathers, the head receives just the right
support. |
